Campus Resources

  1. Our educational and awareness campaign, “Abuse Hurts: Recognize, Respond and Refer,” encompasses promotional materials, posters and wallet cards. Posters and wallet safety cards may be downloaded and placed in prominent, frequently trafficked areas to promote awareness of our campus resources to respond to domestic violence.
  2. The Department of Public Safety on the Ann Arbor campus is a resource for any member of the University community who wants to seek assistance, get consultation, or report a crime related to domestic, dating or sexual violence at (734) 763-1131 (24-hour dispatch) and http://www.police.umich.edu.  In an emergency, dial 911.

  10. The University of Michigan Department of Psychology offers Kids' Club and Moms' Empowerment Program, a free intervention program for mothers and their children who have experienced domestic violence. It is part of an on-going intervention study directed by Prof. Sandra Graham-Bermann.  Families can participate in the free intervention program and can also choose to participate in a series of interviews that help evaluate the program's effectiveness.  Kids’ and Moms’ groups are available frequently throughout the year.  Call 734-647-0789 or e-mail kidsclubprogram@gmail.com for more information.
